Running in the Heat of the Summer
In case you missed today's exciting news, Savannah will be a host city beginning in 2011 for the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon and Half Marathon! Frank Shorter was on hand today to make the official announcement and partake in this amazing event in our back yard. The event will be held on November 5, 2011. Registration is now available, the first 500 runners will receive a discount on race entry.
About the Club:
The Palmetto Pacers Running Club was founded as a non-profit organization in 2009 as a family friendly running club in Bluffton, South Carolina with a focus on overall health and well-being, an increased sense of community and the ability to give back to our friends and neighbors. Our young Club continues to grow through the support of our local community and through runners like you. We have runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Each of our scheduled runs are built around Team unity and we never leave anyone behind to run by themselves. We'd love to have you as a member or even just come out for a run!
